About Your Trip

We offer both a half day = four hours of fishing time) and a full day  = (eight hours plus of fishing time) The best times for Walleyes are May - June and late August thru freeze up. Later season walleye fishing has produced many big fish for my customers.

  • Panfish are always biting all year long.

I fish from the Yarcraft Storm 20 ft. Tiller with Mercury 125 H.P. Merten's Power Tiller Steering and Mercury 9.9 h.p. 4 stroke. Lowrance Color Electronics The boat is safe, stable and gives 3 people plenty of room to fish comfortable. It can fish up to four people.

Area Lakes Profiles:

Lake Delavan is one of Walworth counties best overall fisheries at 1,774 Acres and a maximum depth of 52' is considered one of Wisconsin's Premire fishing waters in the state. This Lake can produce Bass up to 6 pounds, Walleye caught nearing 10 pounds and northern Pike over 45 inches. Is a year round panfishing HOT SPOT.

Lake Geneva in Walworth County has a size of 5,262 acres with means depth of 135 feet it is a very popular lake , but summer boat traffic can be heavy at times making mid-day fishing rough.

The Smallmouth and Largemouth Bass are the most popular and abundant with fish up to six pounds most of these fish average 12" to 16" in lenght and are 3 to 4 pounds. Northern Pike and Walleye, Brown/Lake Trout are fairly common to the lake with average walleye 14'-17" and fish over ten pounds caught each year.

Lake Geneva's excellent size, structure and forage make it one of the premire fishing resources in the not only southern Wisconsin and the entire midwest!

The Madison's Chain of Lakes at just over 17,000 acres offer some of the finest fishing in the state!  Each lake has it's own diverse population of fish species. Lake Mendota is one of the premier body of water in the midwest with  it's excellent Bass, Walleye, Pike, and Panfish  it has been legendary for years. It is the most studied bodies of water in the county just for that reason.

The In-Fisherman Professional Walleye Tour held their Championship in September 1999 because these waters can be some of the best walleye waters in the state with a few big fish caught over 10 pounds every year and many many nicer fish caught on a regular basis, The Professional Musky Tour and others holds tournaments on these waters yearly because of the total catchable populations that rival most waters of the northwoods. Lakes Mendota, Monona,Waubesa and Kegonsa can give a real thrill to those that take the time to learn about them.

The Panfishing is an outstanding year round fishery with bluegills/crappie that are big and abundant. The next few years should be the perch population peak cycle years making them one of the most sought after panfish lakes in the state.

Places to overnight stay we offer pier pickup off the two resorts on the lake.
